The National Campaign for Quality 2005 got underway yesterday, as part of the eleventh European Quality Week (7th-13th November). This important annual event is aimed at raising awareness of the strategic role that quality plays, and the benefits it brings to the whole of the Italian system.
RadiciGroup’s adhesion to the campaign is a sign of its commitment to the fundamental role of quality and developments in quality standards, concepts that are now widespread in every area of the Italian economic fabric.
The initiative was first launched in 1989 by the three major Quality Associations of Japan, the United States and Europe: the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers, the American Society for Quality Control, today the American Society for Quality, and the European Organization for Quality.
Since 1995, the National Campaign for Quality has become part of the European Quality Week, a campaign launched by the European Union that invites the member states to hold a series of promotional events during the month of November every year in order to spread a Culture of Quality. |
