RadiciGroup voiced its point of view regarding the current state of the complex nylon market at the tenth edition of the World fibres and feedstocks conference, which was held in Singapore this year.
Innovation, the development of new products, and efficiency, as well as quality, investing resources in research, and a prompt reaction to market changes are just some of the key strategies that companies now have to adopt in order to overcome the current stagnant situation in the global textile market.
These issues were taken up by Arturo Andreoni, Marketing Manager of RadiciGroup’s Fibres division, during his talk at the conference. Measures like these are also needed in order to deal with the steep increase in raw material prices and the increasingly sizeable imports of textile goods from Asia.
The successful format of the World fibres and feedstocks conference, now in its tenth edition, was adopted this year, too. The two-day meeting gave ample opportunity for the 150 delegates from all continents to discuss the current and future state of raw materials in the polyester, nylon and acrylic chains, and compare thoughts about the situation of their respective down-stream markets. |
